LOCAL FIRM RECEIVES NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY AWARD

Brian Hageman, Chairman and CEO of Deluge, Inc receiving the Outstanding Technology Development award for the Natural Energy Engine, Brian's invention. PHOENIX (Sept. 21, 2005) - Receiving this year's prestigious Outstanding Technology Development award from the Federal Laboratories Consortium (FLC) confirms that Deluge Inc., an Arizona based technology company, rivals even the largest national federal agencies in the research and development of new technologies. Competitors for this award included such industry giants as the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Homeland Security and NASA. What sets Deluge apart is their innovative technology and their ability to successfully commercialize an invention. They have recently commercialized their Natural Energy Engine™, a thermal hydraulic engine that operates solely on hot water, for use in crude oil production.

The FLC, a national network of hundreds of federal laboratories and research centers, honored Deluge and the Department of Energy's Rocky Mountain Oil Testing Center (RMOTC) for their collaborative work pumping oil from a well at the Naval Petroleum Reserve near Casper, Wyoming, using geothermal water as the sole source of fuel. The testing, which was completed in 2004, demonstrated that the Natural Energy Engine™ (NE Engine™) is capable of pumping oil from wells at depths ranging from 400 to 1,600 feet with power to spare.
"The RMOTC-Deluge partnership presented a unique opportunity to synthesize fossil and renewable energy technologies. The lessons learned in the field scale demonstration were invaluable in making multiple enhancements to the inventor's concept," said RMOTC Manager, Doug Tunison.

Infinite Possibilities

Brian Hageman, inventor of the Natural Energy Engine™ and President of Deluge, sees limitless opportunities for the NE Engine™.

"Our work with RMOTC has allowed us to not only gain valuable experience with and recognition for operating the NE Engine™, but also to identify a myriad of applications for it," Hageman said.
