WALLACE BAKER Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Baker brings a broad range of experience and expertise to Deluge, Inc.'s CFO position, ranging from corporate lending and corporate finance, to consulting, IT and e-commerce, market development, and corporate planning. During his tenure as Vice President of Corporate Marketing for MetLife and Officer in Charge of Corporate Planning, Mr. Baker was responsible for the business planning and financial goal setting for the corporation as well as the development and implementation of strategic revenue-producing initiatives and market strategies, together with their financial metrics, for the business enterprise as a whole.
As CFO of MetLife's new venture startups, Wallace developed and implemented financial management processes for the assessment and funding of internal new business start-ups, using financial metrics to monitor and guide growth. Successful start-ups for which Mr. Baker was responsible included: Interactive Commerce, the initiative responsible for MetLife's Internet strategy; the award-winning Life Advice™ program; and Family Money™ magazine. Instrumental in launching MetLife's rapidly growing banking business, Mr. Baker was also a founder of MetLife Trust Company and served on its Board of Directors.
Wallace's wealth of business development and strategic financial experience extends to advising traditional companies, new startups, and Internet ventures, including serving on their Boards of Directors. He has developed business models and written business plans for these companies. The success of many of these ventures has been due to Mr. Baker's ability to identify and develop the alliance partnerships needed to secure funding as well as his expertise in implementing the appropriate financial strategies.
